Waiting

Yep, that's what I've been doing since we finished all of our necessary training on Thursday.  Yesterday was spent watching TV shows and movies on my computer and napping throughout the day.  It was wonderful.  Except for the headache/neck ache I had all day.  Come to find out it was because the pillow I was using was too firm.  Last night I slept on just my woobie and today my neck feels great!  


This morning, a couple of us went to breakfast chow around 0800.  After that we headed to the MWR internet cafe.  I have wireless internet in the tent but it is so unpredictable that I don't use it very often.  I thought I should let everyone know that I was still alive and doing well.  After the internet cafe we went to Green Beans Coffee and just chilled out for a bit before the PX opened up at 1000.  I found this really cute pink satin robe that I had to get.  Only $15!!  Now, I'm sitting back in the tent.....with internet!!  That's been my day thus far.  Pretty relaxing!  Now I plan on watching some more movies.  Dinner tonight might be Burger King.....who knows.


As far as getting out of here and finally into Baghdad, no one knows for sure.  Apparently the entire Air Force (deployed and all) took Veteran's Day off on Thursday so it pushed everyone's flight back a day or so.  Gotta love the Chair Force!  I should be getting to Baghdad within the next couple days or so.
